I love this kind of weather as long as it stays 80. LOL!! I know that is not in the cards but wishful thinking. I enjoyed this week as i talked with my patients. The ones doing chemo have a fabulous view of the outside cause the whole wall is glass. They can watch them building a new Tanger Outlet across the way. It is good for them to see the spring coming cause some of them might not see it the next year.
It saddens me to know that the time for some of them are limited but i have to believe that it is for a reason that they are going through this in their lives. It doesn't help that i have a heart on my sleeve. But i pray as they watch the new growth and enjoy the sunshine they can find comfort in knowing that it will be alright and time does goes on for the ones remaining here. Just live in the moment everyday and enjoy what God has blessed us with. We are not guaranteed tomorrow. Love the ones you are with and the ones you don't know for they may be the angels you meet in your journey in life.

Hi Colette,
ReplyDeleteThanks for these lovely springtime thoughts. The angels you have not met may be that person you failed to say hello to during your day. That is so true. I am counting my blessings, especially the 80 degree weather!
Hi Colette,
ReplyDeleteI wish all nurses had the same compassion as you. The nurses at mom's oncology office just seem as we are a burden most of the time. Mom has a full wall window also, but the view is of the back hospital parking lot, lol. I am glad to say though she is on her 4 week break before we have to go back. I wonder sometimes the same about why they go through this, as I have already lost a sister, dad, stepdad, and many others to cancer, but I know for Mom it is the grandbabies. But I am just glad for the time I get to spend with her while I can!
