Professor and class. it is Thursday had the day off to take my daughter shopping and lunch. It was her 17th birthday yesterday and so we did our girl thing. Nails, lunch with my best friend and shopping. Loved it. Trying to figure out this paper thing. Boy this APA thing can be tough but i will do my best to finish it with the knowledge i am learning. My brain is overloaded. LOL!!! Hope all you other guys are surviving it.

    Hi Collette,

    My brain is scrambled as well. Today is my granddaughter's 15th birthday. I had a Red Cross class all morning and now I am struggling to get grades posted, so I will be available to host her and family for dinner later. Then, I have to pack to leave for the beach for two days tomorrow. My friend won two nights at a hotel. The weather is not good . . . oh well.

    Hi Collette,

    That sounds nice that you got to spend the day with your daughter. I know she appreciates that. There is nothing like your mother your best friend. I kinda had a problem with the APA format myself. Now it comes easier. I just have to check how to cite references everytime I write a paper. I just can't get that one.

    Hi Collette,
    So glad to hear you have such a great relationship with your daughter; mother and daughter bonds are so important! I am lucky, my parents live in the same city I do, so my mom and I "hang out" every Tuesday night. It is like a reprieve from the outside world!
    As for the APA, if it makes you feel any better, I think we're all in the same boat (which is why we're learning it in school!)
